Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to operationsal staff to support performance and development.
• Oversee day-to-day transport scheduling and allocation of carrier resources to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Manage customer service demands, handling exceptions, peak demand periods, and operational risks effectively.
• Monitor carrier performance and manage exceptions to maintain DIFOT targets.
• Build and nurture strong working relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams.

About You

• Proven track record of at least 2 years leading teams within the transport sector, driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Solid knowledge of the Australian road transport industry and freight operations.
• Experience with transport management systems and allocation/execution processes.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, manage fluctuating workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused, adaptable, and capable of performing well in fast-paced environments.
