The Role
We are seeking an energetic and proactive Operations Support Officer to join our growing 100% work-from-home team. This role suits someone early in their career (up to 3 years’ experience) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their workday. You will be the first point of contact for new clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience while providing exceptional client service — all while working 100% from home.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct onboarding calls and intake new clients
Set up client records in our system
Organise initial services and hand over to the appropriate team/workflow
General office administration and internal support
Document management and accurate record-keeping
Maintain and update templates, forms, and Standard Operating Procedures
Provide updates to clients about claims and services
Respond to client questions and maintain clear communication records
Conduct follow-up calls and emails as required
Receive and review incoming requests, categorise and prioritise tasks for action
About You
You’re a self-starter and natural “go-getter” who can work autonomously yet takes direction well. You thrive when switching between tasks and can multi-task without losing attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Up to 3 years’ experience in administration, customer service, or client onboarding
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (essential)
Experience with Dynamics 365 (desirable but not essential)
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding and empathy for the needs of ADF veterans
Finance or bookkeeping experience (preferably with Xero) is desirable but not essential
