About the role
Join ACMI as our Communications Assistant and work with our creative and supportive Brand & Marketing Team. This full-time ongoing role provides administrative, publicity and social media support to the communications team, working collaboratively with the Senior Publicist and Content & Social Media Manager. Reporting directly to the Head of Communications, the Communications Assistant works with stakeholders across ACMI and externally. The role is designed to expand your skills in all facets of PR.
What you'll bring to the role
- Experience in the field of communications, public relations, journalism or related field,
- An understanding of the press and social media landscape, with an understanding of what makes a good story or social post.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders, community groups and key influencers across the arts, culture, design and entertainment media landscape.
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Your passion for the arts, with an interest in key areas within ACMI's remit including film, TV, videogames, art, education, public programs and development.

- Full-time ongoing Grade 2.2 role, with a starting salary of $70,086 plus super.
