To be successful in the role you must meet the following requirements:

Minimum 3 -5 years experience in an estimating role

Minimum 5 years experience working within the sheetmetal industry (must be trade qualified - Cert 3 Metal Engineering Sheetmetal)

Experience in managing multiple tenders and projects with critical deadlines

The ability to read and comprehend architectural and engineering designs and drawings- as well as basic sketches.

Competency at intermediate/advance level in Microsoft Excel and Word

Current Drivers Licence

Full Right to Work in Australia

Construction Industry White Card

Responsibilities include:

Attend job/construction sites to obtain dimensions for quote preparations

Preparation of accurate quotes and tenders for sheet metal projects, within house via our in-house job management system

Managing the efficient workflow of quotes and information for job packages to be issued to production

Liaise with our inhouse Draftsman

Attend Pre- Site meetings with the Production Manager before jobs are installed

Offer support and clear communication with all clients throughout the job process

Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors subcontractors, and employees

Structure- The position is full-time Monday to Friday (Probation period applies)
