Accounts Payable Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Accounts Payable Bookkeeper to join our team in East Fremantle. This is a vital role with a primary focus on accounts payable for our boutique fresh food markets.

The Role

Your main responsibility will be processing invoices and managing supplier payments. This role requires a strong conceptual understanding of bookkeeping principles, including the application of GST on fresh food products. You will not be responsible for accounts receivable, payroll, or ATO management.

Required Skills and Experience

Relevant experience, with a primary focus on accounts payable.

Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows File Explorer.

Solid conceptual understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Highly Desirable (but not essential)

Experience with Triumph accounting software.

Familiarity with automation platforms like Smart Retail and Click Invoicing.

Previous experience in the supermarket or fresh food retail industry.
