About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our growing Finance team at Wattleup Tractors. This full-time role will be based in our Kewdale office in Western Australia and will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial operations.

What you'll be doing

· Checking & verifying invoices

· Matching invoices to purchase orders

· Invoice processing

· Supplier payment run scheduling & processing

· Direct debit payments & journal processing

· Supplier statement reconciliations

· Liaising with departmental managers to follow up & resolve reconciling/missing/disputed items

· Record-keeping and reporting

· Supplier client details updating

· End-of-month procedures

· Supplier communications

· Wholegoods receival & booking-in procedures

· Office stationery & kitchen supplies

· Assistance with vehicle licencing, banking & PO box collections

· Assistance with exhibitions trade shows, accommodation & travel bookings

· Other ad hoc tasks as required by manager/supervisor

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role

Diploma or Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping or relevant experience

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using accounting software

Sound knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
