About the role

Hay Street Medical Centre is seeking a skilled and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the smooth running of our thriving general practice in Subiaco, Western Australia. As Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services to our patients. This is a part-time position based on-site. A full-time position is available if this best suits the ideal candidate.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing all administrative and operational aspects of the medical practice

Managing staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management

Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, policies and procedures

Implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes

Overseeing financial management, including budgeting, reporting and billing

Liaising with healthcare providers, suppliers and other stakeholders

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance patient experience and practice efficiency

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Practice Manager or similar management role in a healthcare setting

Excellent understanding of general practice operations and regulatory requirements

Strong leadership and people management skills

Proficient in financial management and data analysis

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with Medical, Nursing and Non-Clinical colleagues
