Senior HR Advisor (Level 5) – Government | ER/IR Focus | Perth CBD | 6-Month Contract

Are you a skilled Senior HR Advisor with strong employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) experience? We're currently seeking a dynamic and adaptable HR professional to join a WA State Government department for a 6-month contract based in Perth CBD.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys partnering with the business to deliver high-quality HR advice and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level HR advisory services to managers and employees in line with public sector policies and frameworks.
• Manage and support ER/IR matters, including grievances, investigations, disciplinary processes, and enterprise agreement interpretation.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver proactive and solutions-focused HR advice.
• Support and contribute to workforce planning, change management, and performance management processes.
• Assist with HR policy development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues to deliver consistent and compliant HR support across the department.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Demonstrated experience in a Senior HR Advisor role within the WA State Government or broader public sector.
• Strong working knowledge of industrial awards, enterprise agreements, and public sector employment legislation.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive and complex employee relations and industrial relations matters.
• Highly adaptable and flexible, with a team-oriented mindset and willingness to support others.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
