Location: Bayswater, WA
Hourly Rate: $70 - $90 p/h + Super (dependent on experience)
6 Month Contract, Part time hours (22.8 - 24 per week)
Working Hours: Completely flexible - 3 days on site full time or, 5 part time days on site.

About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior HR Advisor / Business Partner, ideally with a background in a heavy industry, blue collar environment or business.
The role will see you work directly with the business Managers and Leaders on a daily basis, joining the shared services team and working across a range of initiatives whilst, taking the lead on HR operational requirements on a daily basis.
The role is a temporary, 6 month contract for their business so, needs someone that can hit the ground running, and quickly build up rapport with the existing management team to, improve and build on existing HR processes. This will include staff performance and, issue resolution.
The role will require you to build strong internal relationships with multiple stakeholders to support the management and resolution of issues raised.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Administration & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance with workplace legislation, and manage HR systems and documentation.
- Employee Relations: Support frontline managers with performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and interpreting relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements (EAs), and Fair Work legislation.
- Dispute Resolution: Act as a first point of contact for resolving workplace grievances, facilitating mediation between employees and managers, and escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Multiple Sites: Deal and support 2 x local sites with a strong presence in Mining and Rail.
What You’ll Need:
- Ideally, 5+ years in a similar position previously that would allow you to bring and implement tried and tested methods of working.
- Experience working in a Blue Collar or Heavy Industry background.
- Strong HR Generalist experience and, a desire to continue in this type of role, working directly with the business managers/leaders.
- Strong coaching mindset with the ability to apply this with experienced / longstanding leaders.
- Experience in managing dismissals, supporting managers with performance management plans and discussions.
- Desirable (not essential): Previous experience with modern awards or, EA / EBA's.
