Award winning National Hire leader is currently searching for Industry specialist that can provide direct support to increase rental contracts within Melbourne Victoria. With Offices listed throughout Australia and one of the best customers support teams, you will be hard pressed to find a company that has the same reach or brand as this industry leader. Customer support and delivering equipment through a Dry Hire means this business has grown year on year. With over 800 staff and corporate head office based in Sydney the opportunity to make your mark in the company is massive. With all the technical and customers support at hand your job requirements are to increase rental contracts and secure new business development within the major contractor market. This is created due to the current incumbent retiring form this area.

Job Opportunity –

As mentioned above this role has been created due to a long term employee of 20 years retiring and we seek true form BDM to secure large rental contracts throughout Melbourne West. We are seeking a proven BDM that not only has the customer relationships but can demonstrate the ability to go above and beyond to win and secure new Earthmoving Hire contracts. You will be supported from head office and the local branch network. You will cover all of Melbourne Vic. You will target the Tier 1 contractors that feed the major projects. With industries like Mining, Quarrying, large Civil, Local government, contractor fleets, demolition projects. It comes down to your success that will gain you recognition and the results for the company.

· Develop and look to increase new customer accounts through new

business development

· Improve customer support with regular meetings with customers

· Secure new project within Mining, Quarrying, Civil Construction, local

contractors, and government accounts

· Implement core systems and process

· Plan and execute weekly and monthly KPI’s

· Work with the Branch Manger and workshop team to support new machinery Hires

· To liaise with Key customers to negotiate, develop and implement pricing

and service agreements for projects as required.

· To participate in customer and industry events as required to market and drive

brand awareness as required

· Work with customers on the delivery of 50 tonne + excavators,

Wheel Loaders, Graders, Dozers, Face Shovels, Off HWY trucks, ADT.

Candidate Requirements –

· 5+ Yrs in Heavy Rental Hire.

· Strong relationships with the above markets.

· Technical understanding of the equipment / Day Rates/ Fuel consumption /

Service charges / Transport and Logistics / Safety OHS.

· Excellent Territory management sales skills

· Clear and precise communication with excellent IT skills

· Proven Sales ability to cold call and win major projects

· Winning desire to be the best you can be within a market leader

· Excellent Territory Management

· Strong relationships at Tier1 level

Salary package –

The role is offering a lucrative earning potential and there is scope for negotiations around the package, It will down to your experience at the end of the day and what you believe you can deliver within the first 12 months. With other reps averaging around the 450,000 per month in rental contracts with come down to numbers and results.

· Base Salary - $130,000 to $150,000

· Super – 12%
