My client, a leading global insurance company, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Systems contractor to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract. This newly created role offers the opportunity to work on key initiatives across the organisation, providing visibility and impact across finance, systems and processes.

Key Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or Business (preferred)
• Insurance sector experience is ideal, with an understanding of how products impact finance across GL, P&L, and reporting
• Strong knowledge of hands-on finance processes including journal entries, reconciliations, GL impacts, and financial reporting
• Strong financial analysis, reporting, and project management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Previous hands-on experience with integrated financial ERP systems (SAP highly desirable)
• Experience in UAT / systems testing, including identifying GL issues, impacted reports, reconciling balances, and testing systems changes
• 5+ years’ experience in finance systems analysis, systems accounting, or project accounting
