About the Role

As an EL1 Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate complex projects, managing risks, resources, and stakeholder relationships. You will ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget while supporting broader organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and consultation activities
• Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
• Prepare business cases, executive briefs, reports, and corporate documentation
• Monitor project budgets, procurement, and contract management activities
• Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, ensuring mitigation strategies are applied
• Analyse project performance and ensure deliverables meet quality and client requirements

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing complex projects in a government or public sector environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of high-quality briefs and presentations
• Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making abilities in dynamic settings
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience building stakeholder relationships and negotiating to achieve project outcomes
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
• Experience in consultation or workforce engagement activities is highly regarded

Existing Baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
