Your New Role
You will be responsible for:
- Developing consultation plans for workforce change, including reporting on key milestones and risks, and delivering full-cycle consultation activities.
- Effectively engage with the CPSU and other stakeholders to support meaningful and expert consultation.
- Designing and managing project plans and schedules aligned with the Agency's framework, while ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Contributing to project design, governance arrangements, and integrating operational elements to support successful project outcomes.
- Preparing and reviewing written materials such as business cases, reports, executive briefs, and overseeing regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenditure, oversee procurement and contracts, identify and treat risks, and ensure project quality meets client needs through performance analysis and quality management activities.
What You Will Need to Succeed
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Australian Citizenship.
- Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks, adapting to shifting priorities, and maintaining accuracy under pressure.
- Communicate clearly in writing and speech, including preparing complex briefs and presentations, and engaging with stakeholders using sound judgment.
- Apply critical thinking to solve problems, manage risks, interpret data, and support evidence-based decisions in complex policy settings.
- Work independently and collaboratively across teams to meet priorities and contribute to a productive work environment.
- Use office software confidently, handle sensitive information discreetly, and bring experience from working in government or public sector settings.
The Logistics
- 12-month contract with possibility of extension or permanency.
- Hybrid working arrangement available.
- Daily rate of $602.55 + super.
- Opportunities based in Richmond, Geelong, and Newcastle.
