A well-established and respected accounting firm seeking a Business Services Manager/Senior Manager to oversee a talented team and manage a high-value client portfolio. You’ll play a key role in driving team performance, delivering top-tier advisory and compliance services, and building strong, lasting relationships with clients across a diverse range of industries—including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and large multinational groups.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of intermediate and senior accountants, supporting their development and reviewing their work

Manage a client portfolio with fee base approximately $1M in fees

Deliver strategic insights in areas such as restructuring, tax planning, succession planning, and small business concessions

Act as a trusted advisor—conducting client meetings, identifying opportunities, and supporting clients through all business stages

Ensure compliance with Australian tax matters including income tax, FBT, Div7a, PSI, CGT and more

Collaborate with Partners on business development, billing, WIP management, and client strategies

About you:

CA or CPA qualified

Minimum 5 years’ experience in business services and tax within an Australian public practice firm

Proven experience training and reviewing work of accountants

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency with Xero, MYOB AE, and cloud-based accounting platforms
