About the role

As an Operations Coordinator at Vamp Cranes, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our crane hire and logistics operations. This full-time position is based in our Campbellfield, VIC 3061 office, where you will collaborate closely with our operations team to ensure we deliver reliable, safe and efficient crane services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate daily crane, rigging and transport schedules to meet client requirements and site deadlines

Liaise with site supervisors, project managers and field crews to confirm job details and resolve scheduling conflicts

Track fleet availability, maintenance requirements and operator allocations

Monitor compliance with EBA, Award, WHS and company policies across jobs

Maintain accurate records of job allocations, timesheets, permits and client instructions

Support the rollout of new operational systems and processes to improve efficiency

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including accounts, safety and site operations

What we're looking for

Qualification in operations, logistics, business administration or relevant field (desirable but not essential)

2+ years’ experience in a similar scheduling, operations, logistics or construction coordination role

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure

Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with both internal teams and external clients

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling software is an advantage ie Equipr

Understanding of construction industry practices, safety compliance and crane/plant operations is highly regarded
