The Opportunity
This Payroll and/or Recruitment Officer role is pivotal in supporting the organisation’s people operations. You will have the opportunity to ensure payroll and recruitment processes run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently, while also helping to drive improvements in systems and processes.
You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, becoming a advisor and providing guidance on payroll and/or recruitment matters. Whether your expertise is in payroll, recruitment, or both, this role provides scope to make a visible impact and grow professionally in a high-profile, dynamic environment. Your contribution will directly influence staff satisfaction, engagement, and operational excellence.
The Role
Reporting into the HR leadership team. Depending on your skill set, responsibilities may include:
- Processing accurate and timely payroll using Aurion for all staff
- Managing recruitment activities, from advertising to onboarding
- Maintaining HR systems and ensuring compliance with policies and legislation
- Providing professional guidance to managers and staff on payroll and/or recruitment matters
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the HR function

You bring hands-on experience in Aurion, payroll, recruitment, or both, and understand how effective people processes contribute to a positive workplace culture and organisational success.

Your interpersonal skills allow you to build strong, trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation. Salary / Rate
- $80k – $100k + Super
- 3 month non-ongoing with the view to permanent
- Immediate start on offer
