Migration Lawyer | 2 years plus pae | Sydney CBD

The Opportunity

If you are a dedicated migration lawyer who is passionate about helping clients and assisting them in build new lives in Australia, my client would love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to work on:

• personal, employer sponsored and corporate migration applications
• sports visa, training visas, partner and family visas
• general skilled migration applications and skills assessments, health waivers, cancellations
• merits and judicial reviews
• Ministerial intervention applications

The Firm

Our client is an outstanding commercial law firm with offices across Australia. They have beautiful offices in the heart of the Sydney CBD and are committed to growing their migration team.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• have 2 years plus in the area of migration law
• strong knowledge of the Migration Act including regulations and policy framework
• be able to manage your own caseload of individual clients
• an ability to form strong relationships with clients
• conduct consultations and assessments with clients providing accurate and complete advice regarding visa programs, pathways and opportunities
• ability to work to tight deadlines
• sound judgement and analytical skills in assessing visa eligibility
