Software & Data Tester – Logistics IT
Location: South Yarra, VIC
Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 + Super
Hill McGlynn Recruitment is representing one of Australia’s most innovative logistics and retail operators in their search for a Software & Data Tester to join the IT team in South Yarra. This organisation is driving national transformation projects and invests heavily in technology to support its large-scale operations across the country.
The Opportunity
This role will see you at the core of testing and validating enterprise-level systems that underpin a fast-moving logistics environment. You’ll ensure software quality, accuracy of data, and seamless integration across multiple platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing comprehensive software testing to ensure functionality and performance
• Generating and analysing comparative test data
• Conducting system and integration testing across enterprise environments
• Validating software against business and client requirements
• Working with EDIFACT file standards (3PL industry standard)
• Interfacing with SAP and other enterprise systems
• Ensuring quality and reliability of software solutions across logistics operations

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience in software and data testing within enterprise environments
• Strong background in integration and system testing
• Familiarity with EDIFACT file standards essential
• Experience working with SAP and related ERP/enterprise systems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
