We are looking for a hardworking Trade salesperson for a full-time position in our Biloela store.

We are locally owned and operated since 1988. We pride ourselves on being Mighty Helpful and providing a great customer experience to all.

Qualifications & experience

Forklift License

MR Truck License

Automatic car license

Strong understanding of the WHS requirements

Attention to detail reading and understanding delivery dockets, etc.

Great people skills to provide outstanding customer service

Capable of working both outdoors and indoors, and on your feet all day

Capable of moderate to heavy lifting - building materials

Ability to follow instructions well, teachable

Tasks & responsibilities

Forklift unloading and loading trucks

Deliveries of goods to customers - some heavy lifting - MR truck license essential

Accurately unpacking and checking incoming deliveries ready for sale

Organizing and storing timber and building materials

Maintain tidy, safe, and well-organized trade yard and store areas.

Ensuring the health and safety of fellow team members as per in-house WHS policies

Provide friendly, professional service to trade and retail customers.

Prepare and fulfil trade orders efficiently and accurately.

Build relationships with customers and be able to identify their needs

Basic computer knowledge required - training will be provided

Manage stock levels, minimize shrinkage and stock loss, maintain stock tickets

Assist with stock control, including receiving, unpacking, and replenishing stock

Undertake regular stocktaking and inventory checks

Support the setup of displays, promotions, and merchandising.

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
