Our client, based in Laverton North, are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their busy and dedicated team. This is a full-time position working a 12-hour shift, rotating over both days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing raw materials and material flows to the machinery efficiently
• Assisting in troubleshooting
• Escalating any breakdowns promptly to minimise disruptions
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Moving materials to machinery using forklift
• Participate in continuous improvement activities

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role working on a rotating shift highly regarded
• Machine operation experience essential
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Proven history working within a process environment
• Ability to accurately record manufacturing and quality data
• Forklift and driver’s licence are essential
