Operations Manager – Royal Park Public Golf Course

We currently have an incredible employment opportunity for a Golf Operations Manager at Royal Park Golf Course, located just 3km from the Melbourne CBD.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Royal Park Public Golf Course. This role is hands-on and will suit a leader with a background in hospitality, sport or leisure management.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the golf course, retail, café and events run smoothly while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for all golfers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily golf course operations, including golf shop, café and events.

Supervise, train and support frontline staff to ensure excellent customer service standards.

Oversee stock management, cash handling, online shop and reporting.

Coordinate events, corporate days, social bookings and activations.

Maintain compliance with health, safety and licensing requirements.

Support the delivery of GreenSpace Management initiatives, promotions and participation programs.

Drive revenue growth through retail, food & beverage and participation offerings.

Ensure facility presentation standards are maintained at all times.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in operations, hospitality, golf or leisure facility management.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Knowledge of golf operations (desirable but not essential).

Must have current RSA, WWCC and First Aid & CPR qualifications

Qualify for an Australian Police Check

Availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings.
