About the Role
You will provide culturally safe case management and practical support to Aboriginal families in the Liverpool area. This includes helping families strengthen their parenting capacity, linking them with services, and reducing risks so children can grow up strong, safe, and connected to culture.
This is a fixed-term contract until March 31, 2026.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Provide case management to families referred to our Early Intervention Program.
Develop, implement, and review case plans in partnership with families and stakeholders.
Facilitate positive and safe contact between children and parents when required.
Assist in delivering group programs and supported playgroups.
Work collaboratively with government agencies, community services, and local networks.
Participate in on-call duties and maintain regular contact with families.
Keep accurate records and meet reporting requirements.
Advocate for Aboriginal children, young people, and families in the sector.

National Criminal History Check
NSW Driver’s Licence (minimum P2)
Skills and Experience
Relevant qualification (University or TAFE) or 3+ years’ experience working with children and families in a casework setting.
Strong understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal communities, families, and children.
Knowledge of child protection and early intervention principles.
Understanding of child development and practical parenting skills.
Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to build effective networks and make referrals.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, internet navigation).
Flexible and willing to work outside standard hours if required.
