About the role

Future Explorers Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director/ Nominated Supervisor to lead our early childhood education and care centre in North Turramurra, NSW. As our Centre Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the centre's operations, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and education for the children in our community. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and advancement.

What you'll be doing

Providing strategic leadership and direction for the centre, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures

Managing and supervising a team of dedicated early childhood educators, providing mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities

Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards

Fostering strong relationships with families, the local community, and other stakeholders

Overseeing the centre's budget and financial management

Promoting a positive and inclusive centre culture that supports the wellbeing and development of both children and staff

Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and involvement.

Represent the centre in the local community, establishing partnerships and promoting the centre's values.

What we're looking for

A Diploma degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (ECT preferred)

Minimum 5 years of experience as an early childhood educator, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role

Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, program planning, and the implementation of best practice in early childhood education

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and staff

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children

Hold a current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training, Food Safety Training and Child Protection Training
