We are currently recruiting for an experienced Branch Supervisor / Manager to lead operations at our Shepparton branch. This role is ideally suited to someone with a trade background in HVAC or a related field, who is confident managing day-to-day branch operations independently.

This hands-on role focuses on domestic new build homes, managing operations, subcontractors, and customer relationships. Background in HVAC is essential.

About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch's operations, including managing staff and subcontractors, coordinating new build residential HVAC projects, handling stock orders and receiving, and maintaining strong client and builder relationships. This is a hands-on role where you will ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard while fostering a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations to ensure smooth project delivery and resource allocation

Order and receive stock and materials, maintaining accurate inventory records

Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely job preparation and completion

Address warranty and service issues in collaboration with builders and customers

Lead and support a team comprising technicians, apprentices, office staff, and subcontractors

Ensure compliance with OH&S policies and safety procedures

Identify and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency

Maintain documentation related to job progress, safety, and stocktake processes

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in operations, project management, or supervisory roles within HVAC, construction, or a related trade environment (MUST HAVE)

Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and subcontractors

Strong organisational and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach

Sound knowledge of OH&S standards and safety compliance

Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities
