The Role

We are seeking a motivated B2B Sales Trainee to join our growing team. This entry-level role is designed for individuals looking to build a career in technical sales within the construction and hire industries. You will work closely with our experienced sales team to learn product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management while contributing directly to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Support the sales team with day-to-day activities including quotes, order processing, and customer enquiries.

Develop a strong technical understanding of diamond tools, concrete grinding/polishing equipment, vacuums, and related consumables.

Build relationships with new and existing B2B customers, including hire companies, contractors, and resellers.

Assist with trade shows, demonstrations, and product presentations to clients.

Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within customer accounts.

Maintain accurate records in our CRM system.

Shadow senior sales staff to learn the full sales cycle from lead generation through to account management.

Skills & Attributes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.

Interest in construction equipment, machinery, or industrial sales (experience not required but highly regarded).

Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and take initiative.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM experience desirable).

Driver’s licence required (role may involve occasional customer visits).
