Dental Assistant – Part-Time (Tues, Wed, Fri) – Immediate Start

We are a small, well-established local dental practice with a friendly and supportive team, currently seeking a part-time, casual Dental Assistant to join us immediately.

About the Role:

This position is for three days per week – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We're looking for someone with experience in general dental chairside assisting, and ideally, with surgical, paediatric or experience working under general anaesthetic, or a keen interest in developing these skills.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum Certificate III in Dental Assisting

Excellent time management and punctuality

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proactive, well-organised, and takes initiative

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and welcoming patients

Assisting chairside during dental procedures

Handling instruments and managing suction and water sprays

Maintaining strict infection control and sterilisation procedures

Assisting with reception, billing, and general clerical tasks when required
