About the role

Dilleen Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in Rockhampton, QLD. This is a casual role, providing you with the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial part in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a clean and organised work area, and ensuring the efficient flow of each appointment

Sterilising and preparing instruments and dental equipment

Greeting and welcoming patients, arranging appointments, and managing patient records

Providing chairside support, including patient education and comfort

Maintaining infection control protocols and safety standards

Performing general administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in a similar dental assisting role, preferably in a private practice setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently

A genuine passion for providing high-quality patient care
