We area friendly, fast paced medical practice seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team of four female gynaecologists, specialising in infertility and IVF. This part-time, permanent role requires a commitment of two days per week, with the potential for additional days should the candidate possess typing proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing incoming calls and scheduling appointments efficiently

Welcoming patients, setting up their files, and processing payments

Coordinating procedures, operating lists, and liaising with the hospital team regarding patient care

Typing medical notes via dictaphone, scanning documents, and organising clinic activities

Responding to patient inquiries by phone and email, providing clear and professional assistance

Transmitting patient information to IVF units as required

Handling billing for health funds and managing Medicare claims

Ensuring the office environment remains organised, well-stocked, and conducive to a smooth operation

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone with prior experience in a medical practice environment, preferably with familiarity in medical dictation and Genie software.
