Financial Controller
Brisbane | Full-time | Reports to CFO

We’re growing quickly and looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to play a key role in shaping our future.

This role will be based in our Fortitude Valley office, with hybrid working arrangements in place after the training period.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own and oversee financial reporting, cashflow, and statutory compliance (ATO/ASIC).
• Lead the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and monthly management reporting.
• Partner with the CFO and Executive team to provide decision support on pricing, tenders, and future opportunities.
• Manage the audit and taxation processes.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across the Finance team and wider business.
• Support potential M&A and integration activity as the business grows.
• Ensure accurate accounting for payroll, superannuation, and employee entitlements.

About you

• CA/CPA qualified, with strong technical grounding.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, cashflow management, budgeting, and audits.
• Commercially curious – you enjoy interpreting numbers and influencing business decisions.
• Hands-on and adaptable – comfortable rolling up your sleeves in a growing, mid-sized organisation.
• Experienced in leading or supervising a finance team.
• Confident communicator who can engage stakeholders outside of finance.
