About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team in Pyrmont, NSW. This part-time role will involve providing key accounting and administrative support to our finance function. As an integral member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring the smooth running of our accounting operations.

What you'll be doing

Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions

Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations

Preparing periodic financial reports and statements

Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes

Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed

Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/clients

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts officer or similar role

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as D365

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
