We are seeking a motivated individual to join our expanding company. Taking on the role as a Mortgage Broker you will be the point of contact for the lending needs of customers as well as leading a support team. This position offers a dynamic and varied work environment where each day brings new challenges. The successful candidate will work collaboratively alongside our Director and our residential lending division through an important growth phase.

You will be responsible for attending to inbound enquiries as well as identifying potential clients, building relationships, and providing suitable finance solutions for their needs. Conducting comprehensive financial assessments to understand the clients’ finance needs and goals. We can provide you with full training so that you can also prepare credit submissions and finance documents to ensure a successful outcome for your client. The best part is then you'll go on to actively manage client relationships and be major part of the growth of their business which is very rewarding.

There is an abundance of inbound enquiry however your business acumen and experience in building relationships are the key to your success.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to understand clients' mortgage needs and goals.

Provide expert advice on mortgage options, interest rates, and repayment plans.

Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation.

Liaise with lenders to secure the best mortgage rates and terms for clients.

Guide clients through the mortgage approval process, ensuring a smooth transaction.

Stay current on industry regulations and mortgage products to provide up-to-date advice.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions.

Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the team.

About you:

4+ years broking experience with your Certificate IV or Diploma in Mortgage Broking

Integrity and a driven attitude to work autonomously driving business growth

Excellent customer service skills and a high degree of professionalism

Proven experience in providing broking and lending advice to clients, taking the process from application to settlement

Enjoys a challenge and solving problems with the ability to convert leads to loans

Motivated and driven to build strong and ongoing relationships with clients and customers

About the role:

Manage end-to-end processing of mortgage and finance applications

Understanding clients’ goals, needs and loan borrowing capacity

Building relationships with customers and referral partners

Facilitate customer communication and correspondence

Find appropriate loan solutions for customers, working with the support team analysing supplied documentation, matching to banks product and customer needs

Building your own referral network – an established referral network is advantageous.
