Join Chelsea Yacht Club as our Boating Manager (Part-Time) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sailing in our community.
This hands-on leadership role combines operational excellence with the excitement of growing participation in water sports. As the Discover Sailing Centre Principal, you’ll be the face of Chelsea Yacht Club’s sailing programs, working closely with Australian Sailing, families, and members to deliver first-class experiences across Tackers, Start Sailing, Windsurfing, SUP, and beyond.

You’ll coordinate a team of instructors and volunteers, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. With responsibility for marketing and promoting our Learn to Sail programs, you’ll also be central to inspiring the next generation of sailors and building community engagement.

Reporting to Club leadership, you’ll prepare performance and financial reports, contribute to sponsorship and event planning, and lead instructor development days to build a strong and capable team. This is a rare opportunity to combine your passion for organising with program management, safety leadership, and community impact—while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time role.
