Wholesale Coffee Manager

Pillar Coffee is a Specialty Coffee roasting Brand located in Braeside, Melbourne. In addition to roasting specialty coffee for two market Brands. We also experiment and develop new coffee technologies through our R&D arm, Bush and Bush Coffee Systems.

We are currently looking for a wholesale manager to join our ranks.

Responsibilities of this full-time position include:

Maintaining relationships with wholesale clients and account management.

Maintaining orders and invoicing

Training sessions

Blending and packaging

Basic machine maintenance

Adhering to Roastery Cleaning and Safety procedures.

Wholesale Deliveries

Coffee write-ups for wholesale and website sales.

Processing online sales

The successful candidate will need to possess the Following Characteristics:

Sound coffee knowledge, and at least 5 years of Industry experience as a Barista

Basic skills with the coffee machine and grinder maintenance.

Prior Coffee training experience, with demonstration of basic extraction concepts and cupping ability

Good communication and organisational skills

Self-motivation and the ability to work as an individual, and in a team

Desire for the coffee industry, and an understanding of its direction and trends

Basic understanding of warehousing procedures and safety

Current driver’s license with the ability to drive a manual car

The successful applicant will become part of a small team that will share our philosophy and desire to grow our quality-based position in the industry.

You shall also be involved in experimentation and development of new coffee projects through our sister company, Bush and Bush Coffee Systems.
