About the Role

We’re growing fast - and we’re looking for a Design & Project Account Manager to join our team. This is a true end-to-end role. You’ll be across quoting, client briefings, design development, supplier coordination and right through to delivery and installation.

You’ll be the key point of contact between clients, internal teams and suppliers. With a strong eye for aesthetics and functional design, you’ll help our clients bring their interior concepts to life while ensuring productions are delivered on time and to specification.

Key Duties

Prepare detailed quotes and manage all sales‑related administration (follow‑ups, variations, etc.).

Collaborate with clients in briefing sessions and design development meetings.

Apply your eye for design to source and purchase furniture, fixtures, and accessories aligned with client’s interior concept.

Take ownership of projects from concept through to completion — individually or as part of a team.

Produce conceptual renders, sketches, and technical documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and installation.

Liaise with suppliers and internal designers; oversee elements of the production process to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost‑effectiveness.

Jump in on day-to-day tasks as needed — we’re a hands-on, collaborative team

Travel interstate as required for client meetings, site visits, and supplier coordination. Valid driver’s license required.

What You’ll Bring

A tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Industrial Design or a related field

4-5+ years’ professional experience in a similar role (commercial property styling, interiors, furniture, fit‑outs or manufacturing) with exposure to quoting, supplier coordination, client liaison.

Proven design/ aesthetic sensibility with ability to produce concept sketches, renders and technical documentation.

Proficiency in design/CAD tools: SketchUp, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator or equivalent.

Organised, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects in various stages simultaneously under tight timelines.

Excellent interpersonal skills — able to run client meetings, understand client briefs, present concepts, and manage expectations.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials, including:

Low and high-volume metalwork (sheet metal, casting, extrusion, etc.)

Timber joinery (cabinet making, hardwoods, finishing techniques)

Adaptable, proactive, solutions-driven and comfortable working both independently and in a team

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel interstate and locally (supplier visits, client meetings).

Desirable/ Bonus Skills

A portfolio showcasing built work in commercial interior or automotive environments.

Experience in commercial fit‑outs, especially automotive / car‑dealership projects.

Broad knowledge of furniture/ fittings or joinery manufacturing processes.

What You’ll Get

Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.

Full-time, in-house role with exposure to commercial design, manufacturing, and delivery

Work on real-world projects for premium global brands
