The Role

We are seeking a Senior Health & Safety Adviser to join a State Government organisation on a 4+ month contract with potential to extend. In this VPS5 role, you will lead the development and delivery of an Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) framework with a strong focus on training and capability-building.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of OVA learning and development programs
• Drive organisational change strategies to embed OVA risk management capability
• Coordinate project activities including benchmarking, procurement, and stakeholder engagement
• Oversee the delivery of OVA protocols, incident response frameworks, and debrief toolkits

About You

• Proven experience in workplace health & safety, organisational development, or L&D
• Strong knowledge of OVA, workplace risk, or occupational health frameworks
• Skilled communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Relevant qualifications in WHS, HR, Education, or Organisational Development desirable
