Michael Page have partnered with a retail wholesaler to recruit a Finance Manager into their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Client Details

Our client is a retail wholesaler located east of the Perth CBD. With a presence across multiple locations within Australia, our client also has a footprint within the North American, South American and African markets. Due to company growth, the team is now looking to strengthen its Perth finance function.

Description

Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, the purpose of this role is to provide insight into financial and operational business performance. Key duties will also include:

• Produce monthly management accounts
• Analyse P&L to identify variances, trends and provide recommendations for business improvements
• Take ownership of group reporting suites
• Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts
• Ensure accurate inventory costing
• Monitor cash flow and optimise financial performance across the organisation

Profile

The successful applicant will possess the following traits/skillset:

• CA/CPA Qualified (or working towards)
• Relevant Senior Accountant or Finance Manager experience, preferably within Retail or FMCG sector
• Prior experience taking ownership of a P&L
• Ability to meet competing deadlines
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with an ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
