DSY has exclusively partnered with an industry leading Western Australian non-profit to source their next Finance Manager. This organisation has experienced year on year growth for the past decade.

Reporting to the CEO and Board the Finance Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Finance function. This position supports the organisation to meet its reporting, and financial obligations as required by funders and relevant government authorities. You will ensure compliance with all legal and statutory regulations regarding financial and insurance matters.

• Oversee Payroll & Human Resources
• Regularly liaison with CEO in relation to all operations
• Other duties and project work as necessary to support the business

Key Requirements

• Degree qualified Accountant with 5+ years’ experience
• MS Excel - advanced level
• Well-developed and effective communication skills
• Effective in leading and managing staff

Desired Requirements

• Knowledge of Australian taxation laws and obligations particularly as they affect not-for-profit organisations
• Knowledge of accounting and reporting requirements of government agencies
• Familiarity with registration, compliance and reporting requirements of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission
