FindStaff are seeking a stand out Operations & Quality Manager to join our Global Client at their Yatala Office on a full-time permanent basis!

Hours & Salary

Monday -Friday

7:00am to 3:00pm

$170,000 - $200,000 - Negotiable depending on expertise

Please note that you MUST have expereince within the Waste / Water industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lab Operations Management

• Oversee production runs
• Operate laboratory equipment to assess waste material content and quality of waste streams
• Conduct extensive laboratory testing on diverse biowaste streams
• Process waste materials to recycle into fuel or fertilizer
• Execute testing experiments to produce feedstock samples

Plant Process Engineering & Quality Control

• Throughouly disucssing with internal and external engineering teams on the design, commissioning, and equipment effiencey
• Process machinery modifications to meet specific customer requirements
• Revaluate design and manufacturing solutions to align with market needs
• Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
• Maintain and ensure all quality control procedures are followed at high standards

To be successful:

• 3+ years experience in process or plant engineering within waste-processing, bioenergy, or relevant industry
• MUST have a Mechanical fitter qualification with 3+ years industry experience
• Forklift license - Preferred but not essential
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Full working rights in Australia
• Ability to read and create P&IDs; basic CAD is a Bonus.
• Current Australian Driver License
