About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, highly organised Commercial Warehouse Manager to lead our Commercial warehouse operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse, managing stock control systems, ensuring efficient order fulfilment, and leading a small team with a strong safety and performance culture.

From managing high volumes of inventory and ensuring delivery schedules are met, to mentoring staff and driving process improvements — this role is suited to someone with a strong warehouse operations background, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full operation of the warehouse, including receiving, inventory management, order picking/packing, and dispatch

Use warehouse management systems to accurately process goods

Lead a team of warehouse staff — providing coaching, mentoring, performance reviews, and training

Conduct and oversee daily cyclic and periodic stocktakes, investigate variances, and maintain accurate records

Manage safe and efficient packing and loading of deliveries, ensuring correct procedures and documentation

Uphold high safety standards across all warehouse and forklift operations in all conditions

Maintain warehouse and yard cleanliness, stock rotation, and inventory flow

Collaborate with the Commercial and Inventory Control teams to address discrepancies or supply issues

Monitor and report on stock levels, vehicle condition, and equipment maintenance

Run toolbox talks, drive a positive workplace culture, and support continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Proven experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics leadership

Strong computer skills and familiarity with WMS, scanning systems, and inventory software

Forklift licence (mandatory) and valid manual driver’s licence

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure

Trustworthiness, reliability, and a proactive, can-do attitude

Strong understanding of WHS compliance and safe manual handling practices

A hands-on leadership style with the ability to train, motivate, and lead by example

The physical capacity to undertake some repetitive tasks and assist with safe manual handling and heavy lifting as required
