Chisel Consulting is a Perth-based bookkeeping and business services firm. We support small-to-medium businesses across a range of industries, helping them keep their accounts accurate and organised so they can focus on running their businesses with confidence.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Officer to join our Aubin Grove office on a casual basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys structured work, takes pride in accuracy, and values being part of a supportive team.

In this role you will:

Enter and code invoices and transactions

Process accounts payable and receivable

Reconcile bank, credit card and clearing accounts

Assist with payroll and superannuation

Maintain accurate records using Xero, QuickBooks Online and MYOB

Communicate clearly and professionally with the team

To be successful, you will hold a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or higher) and have a solid understanding of accounting concepts and how to apply them in practice. We’re seeking someone with at least 3 years’ experience in accounts or bookkeeping, confidence with reconciliations, and strong organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly regarded, along with experience in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and payroll.

You’ll be based in our Aubin Grove office, working during standard business hours (weekdays only, no evenings or weekends). The role offers steady casual hours, a competitive hourly rate of $35–$45 depending on skills and experience, and the chance to contribute to a growing business that values accuracy, professionalism, and long-term client relationships.
