The NSW Labor Party is looking for a Digital Organiser to join our team. This role is focused on supporting NSW Labor’s digital campaign across email, web, print, social media and other digital channels.
Applicants must demonstrate how the following attributes are met:
Demonstrated commitment to the Labor Party and wider Labor movement.
Recent digital experience
Proven ability to work as an effective team member; and
An understanding of NSW Labor Rules, structures and conventions.
The roles and responsibilities of the position are:
Strong written communication skills
Managing digital projects
Assisting with Digital growth campaigns
Knowledge of design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
Familiarity with CRM and social media publishing tools
Strong digital skills and a willingness to learn new technologies
Manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment
Basic video editing skills
Ability Monitoring the news and online conversations for timely content opportunities
Creating, curating and publishing content across NSW Labor’s social channels
Monitoring social mentions, tags, comments and messages and responding where appropriate
Drafting copy for digital advertising campaigns
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence as it relates to our digital channels.
Publishing web pages
Supporting the implementation of digital advertising campaigns.

Ideal candidate will have:
- Hands-on experience creating and publishing digital content, including turning press releases and news into social, email, and web content
- Experience managing large-scale email campaigns using a CRM (10,000+ contacts)
- Proficient in Meta Business Suite and able to create both visual and written content for social media
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders, create event listings in a CMS, and use form-building and automation tools for registrations and acquisition campaigns
- Nice to have: Experience supporting digital political campaigns during elections, including creating print materials (Adobe InDesign/Photoshop) and collecting original content in the field (photography and written)
Day-to-day, this role involves turning press releases and news into engaging digital content for social media, email, and web. You’ll manage large-scale email sends, create visual and written content, support campaign delivery, and work across multiple platforms to publish, promote, and collect data. The role requires juggling competing priorities, working with stakeholders, and responding quickly to political developments.
