SEO Manager (Experienced)

Location: Hybrid — 1 day per week in-office (South Windsor, Sydney) + Remote flexibility

About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned SEO Manager who knows how to deliver results. You’ll own the SEO function across multiple clients—running technical audits, optimising WordPress sites, and building backlink strategies that actually rank. This is not a “learn as you go” role. We want someone who can hit the ground running, get their hands dirty, and make a visible impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

Running end-to-end SEO campaigns: technical SEO, on-page optimisation, backlink building, and reporting.

Auditing and improving WordPress websites for speed, structure, content, and crawlability.

Creating and executing link acquisition strategies that move rankings (not spammy junk).

Handling technical SEO fixes: Core Web Vitals, schema, redirects, crawl/indexation improvements.

Using SEMrush, SE Ranking, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console to find and fix issues.

Reporting results clearly to internal teams and clients.

Staying sharp on algorithm updates and testing new strategies to keep our clients ahead.

What We Expect From You

3+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven results.

Strong technical SEO expertise (audits, structured data, site architecture).

Solid experience managing and optimising WordPress websites.

A proven track record of building quality backlinks.

Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, GA4, SE Ranking, Screaming Frog).

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly without fluff.

Bonus Points If You

Have agency experience managing multiple accounts.

Understand local SEO at scale.

Have exposure to CRO or paid ads and can collaborate across channels.
