We're looking for a reliable and motivated Diesel Mechanic / Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our client at their Bundoora depot.

This permanent full-time position is a two-week rotating Day shift (6am-2:30pm) and Afternoon shift (2pm-10:30pm) with one week Day and one week Afternoon. The afternoon shift attracts an 18% shift loading.

About the role:

Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and Emission systems (Bus and Coach)

Conducting routine preventative maintenance inspections and repairs

Identifying technical issues an providing effective solutions.

Ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards.

Must haves:

Australian recognized Certificate in Heavy Stream Diesel or similar preferred

Proven experience working with diesel engines or heavy vehicles. (Bus & coach Preference)

Open to Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to gain experience in the heavy stream

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of your work.
