Arbor Mech are based in the Eastern Suburbs. We work both in-house at our Boronia workshop and onsite. Approximately 10-20% of jobs are out on the road, providing specialised maintenance services to our customers and also giving us a change of scene!

What/Who is Arbor Mech?

Whether that be a truck, chipper, stump grinder, chainsaw or other small engine machine.

We have grown rapidly due to our Arborculture/Automotive niche, meeting industry experience with quality mechanical know-how.

Position: Mechanic

Location: Croydon, VIC

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair a variety of arborist equipment, including chippers, stump grinders, loaders, trucks and more.

Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Collaborate with our team to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs completed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with strong background in diesel plant and equipment repair.

Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.

Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record. (MR or HR an advantage)

Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
