About the role:
Belwey Motors is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Upwey, VIC. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, contributing to the efficient and high-quality service we provide to our customers. This is a full-time role based at our workshop in Upwey.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Diagnose and repair faults in vehicles, using your technical expertise and the latest diagnostic equipment

Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including servicing, replacing parts and making adjustments

Accurately diagnose and document service repairs.

Test and inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards

Conduct road test and perform thorough quality control inspections

Provide customer service and advice to clients as required

Foster a positive, collaborative and team orientated culture within the workshop

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment while ensuring the proper use of tools and specialised equipment

What we're looking for:

Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic techniques

Minimum 3-5 years of automotive technician experience is required

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to customers

A current driver's licence and your own set of tools

Reliable, punctual, conscientious, and adaptable, with a strong work ethic.

Australian permanent residency is required for this position
