We are seeking a talented and experienced Company Accountant to lead our financial development, accounting and operational reporting functions. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting activities, ensure compliance with financial regulations, manage month-end reconciliation, and support strategic financial planning. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure the company's financial health and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Prepare and analyze cash flow, KPI reports, and financial dashboards for senior management.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Accounting Operations

Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions.

Review and approve expense reports, invoices, and payments.

Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate employee and contractor payments.

Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Taxation & Compliance

Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.

Ensure timely submission of tax filings and statutory reports.

Monitor changes in financial regulations and update internal processes accordingly.

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead, train, and mentor the accounting team.

Collaborate with departments on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Support strategic initiatives with financial insights and analysis.

Financial Policy & Process ImprovementsgDevelop and implement financial policies and procedures.

Drive continuous improvement for accounting and financial processes.

Manage audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a senior accountant, finance manager, or similar role in a $30 million plus business

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial systems.

Leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems.

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
