Are you an experienced Logistics Manager ready for a new challenge?

A leading laundry company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Manager to join our Factory Leadership team in Western Sydney. This is a hands-on, operational role where you will be responsible for the entire logistics lifecycle of our business, from pickup to delivery.

If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for efficiency and team leadership, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Management: Strategically plan and manage all logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations.

Operational Excellence: Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle, ensuring seamless pickups and deliveries.

Performance & Efficiency: Track key metrics such as quality, quantity, and delivery times to meet and exceed industry standards. Use GPS data to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.

Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and train the logistics team. Manage rosters, handle recruitment, and maintain a high-performing and disciplined workforce.

Fleet Management: Oversee all aspects of the company's fleet, including maintenance, cleanliness, and route planning.

Stakeholder Relations: Liaise with internal teams (dispatch, production) and external partners (suppliers, customers) to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ISO quality requirements.

Your Skills & Experience

Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a similar logistics or supply chain role, preferably within a 24/7 operation. Prior experience in the laundry industry is highly desirable.

Leadership & Communication: An excellent communicator and a personable leader who can manage stakeholders at all levels, from the factory floor to the leadership team.

Financial Acumen: Experienced in budget preparation and ownership.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Supply Chain Management degree is a plus.

Required: Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia and a valid Australian driver's license.

If you are ready to take on a pivotal role in a fast-paced environment and have the skills to drive our logistics operations to new heights, we encourage you to apply.
