About the role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to provide one-on-one support for a young participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 3). The role involves assisting with daily living, communication, behaviour support strategies, and encouraging community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks

Support communication (verbal, non-verbal, or augmentative systems)

Follow behaviour support plans and structured routines

Facilitate safe and meaningful participation in community and recreational activities

Keep accurate progress notes and communicate effectively with the family and allied health team

Requirements:

Experience supporting individuals with Autism (preferably Level 2–3)

Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and communication aids

NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check

Current First Aid & CPR certification

Desirable: Cert III/IV in Disability, Community Services, or related field

Car and driver’s licence (preferred)
