We are currently offering a part/full time dental nursing time position with a view to further hours in the future. Experience in dental nursing is preferred: we are however we also willing to train highly motivated individuals. Presentation at the reception desk is also preferred. We are willing to take on the right applicant and provide a comprehensive training program that will yield a career opportunity able to be applied nationally and internationally.

The successful individual should be friendly, enthusiastic and have an outlook for both long term commitment to the practice and to the care of its patients. The work environment will be predominantly team based: -there will also be the opportunity to work individually. Good communication skills are sought for, as well as the energy to cope with a heavy patient load. Efficient management of time and resources is also important.
Dental assisting requires close attention to cleanliness and technical detail: - both of which will be part of the successful applicant's training program.

The work duties will include dental chair-side assisting work, reception work, sterilization and infection control, direct patient interaction and supportive care, including extensive work with children and a general family environment.
