Salary Range: Up to $142,058. Package includes salary ($113,574 - $125,720), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

The Role

The Investigation and Project Officer contributes to formal investigations and major projects such as inquiries, research, projects, audits, systemic reviews to meet the Ombudsman’s responsibilities in relation to all functions. The Investigation and Project Officer provides policy analysis and advice to senior staff on emerging issues and strategies to address them.

About you

Experience conducting investigations, reviewing systemic issues across government and or/the community services sector, or equivalent experience is preferred. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience researching or handling complex matters and an understanding of the statutory functions and work of the Ombudsman or an ability to quickly gain that understanding.
